As I started to comment on posts today, I noticed many of my comments are not appearing, so I can only presume they are being spammed again by WordPress. Some got through, but not all. ***OK, it’s getting worse. They are all vanishing now. Grrr***
Films Cine, John Charet, Torritto, Sarah, Theo, Kim, Jennie Fitzkee, and others. My comments didn’t show up.
I seem to be ‘allowed’ on the .com sites, but not any free WP ones. I have contacted the ‘Happiness Engineers’ and asked them to un-spam me, but it will help if you all do it too.
If you are in my group of followers, or are one of those bloggers I follow, please check your Spam folders for my comments, and free me from the dreaded ‘Spam Jail’!

Looks like I am out of Spam Jail now mate. It took two contact messages to WP, and one to Akismet. Such a pain when it happens.

Thanks, Susanne. It took two contact messages to Akismet, and one to WordPress. They let me out, but as usual, they didn’t offer any reason why I was stuck there in the first place.

I think once you un-spam me on your site, it presumes I am no longer evii! At least as far as you are concerned, anyway. I am still going to spam on other sites. 😦

I’ve had this issue happen to me so many times now, it isn’t even funny anymore. I do have to say that since Akismet said they did something to my profile, things are much better. Hopefully it gets resolved for you soon Pete.

I check my spam regularly as I set up some keywords to capture spammers and occasionally a genuine comment gets caught, but you are obviously not speaking to me today (yet) Pete as you are nowhere to be found 😉 I do hope you are released from Spam jail soon, it’s a depressing place to find yourself unless in good company 😀

I haven’t had notification of a post from you to comment on yet today, Jude. I have got through to all sites with .com, and been absent from all those with .wordpress.com. I never understand why, and WP never gives a reason either.

Could be, GP. Check back and see if your comment actually appeared on the site.. If not, then it’s probably in Spam. Many people just delete Spam without checking it, so that’s annoying when they never realised we commented.
