Other Blogs: Part Four

Don’t worry, I am not going to feature every single blogger I follow! 🙂 Some of them haven’t posted for a long time anyway, and I am concentrating on those who post something on a regular basis. So if you see anything you like the look of, pop over and read some posts. I only recommend bloggers who are friendly and engaging, as well as those who have been valued followers of my own blog for some time.

Bi-lingual in Spanish and English, a published writer and novelist, qualified doctor, and very supportive blogger. With her concentration on reviewing books, and providing a valuable translation service too, Olga Nunez Miret is a lovely engaging lady, someone I am very happy to call a friend.

Jude is a photographer, and she has quite a few different blogs. She has been blogging for as long as I have, and we have followed each other since the start. She has travelled around the world, and lived for a long time in South Africa. As well as her photos, we get her expertise on flora and fauna, and some tales of life where she lives now. Here’s a link to one of her blogs.

Mary Smith lives and works in Scotland. But she has also lived and worked in Pakistan and Afghanistan. She is a published author, local journalist, and a blogger on everything from the history of her region, to her late father’s struggle with dementia. A fully-engaged blogger, with a warm heart that comes across in her writing.

Music, records, literature, and poetic prose. Oh, and running too. I don’t think anyone knows more about records and their history, than the legendary Thom Hickey. Being from an Irish background, family life in the south of England, and wonderful celebrations of singers and their songs. It’s all there, on one of the best-kept secrets of the Internet.

A fascinating and detailed look at aspects of British history, from 1870 to 1939. Stately homes, exhibitions, features, and photos too. Very few posts during the year, so easy to follow, and always rewarding to read.

A retired college professor, living in America’s Pacific North West. Scenic photos, camera chat, a dislike of President Trump, and growing and drying fruit. Local wildlife, Stamps, and a daily online letter to old friends on the other side of the USA. Much more too, including great fiction from this published author. Ed Westen, a valued friend, and great blogger.

Another very decent selection, from the many blogs that I follow. I hope that some of you find something to enjoy, and will hopefully follow too, if you have room.

  1. I’m honoured to be featured in such a wonderful company, Pete. You’re a star and although I know some of the blogs you recommend, I’m going to check the rest. Thanks very much! ♥
