  10. Congratulations, Pete. A well deserved nomination. I wish you’d come to the Bash. It would be great to meet you and Julie. Maybe you could smuggle Ollie in, too. It’s a bit more than a couple of hours – it’s most of the day. Do think about it.

    1. I was surprised to be in ‘Entertainment’ myself. No idea who decides, I suppose bloggers can vote somehow. It’s all new to me. I have a lot less than 5,000 followers, so no expectation of winning. Shame about the flowers, you would have stood a great chance, Jude. 🙂

      1. Well….I do, because you know something? Your blog always entertains: it has so many cool things going on it: either personal posts, movie reviews, stories…it’s the diversity and the great writing style you have: so yes…definitely entertainment alright 😊😊

  21. I guess I never thought of categories, but then, I gave up thinking for Lent. 🙂 [Just think what I would give up if I were religious!–use your imagination.] Congratulations,, for the entertainment nomination ( you and John), I confess, I did not read all the nominees after that category.

      1. Yes I saw it there, along with John’s, did you nominate each other?? 😀 I think the entertainment category is perfect. A little sad there’s no pphotgraphy category, not to be in it but to see some good photo blogs.

            1. Unlikely. Would have to sort Ollie, get trains, hotel etc. Just spent well over 4 grand on the house renovations. Next we have more decorating, then carpets. I have to remember I am living on retirement pensions. They are unfortunately not bottomless. 🙂

Your posts run the gamut from photography, film and song reviews, personal reflections and essays, and even book reviews. And don’t get me started on your stories.
