Today’s episode of Runs In The Family is not appearing.
An early outing to the supermarket followed by a longer than usual dog-walk left me with no time to write the post and prepare a delicious evening meal of roast chicken with all the trimmings.
My dinner won the contest…
It will be back soon. Sorry!
(Blame the virus!)
No apologies, Pete. Actually itβs good news for me. You would think teaching online and doing all my schoolwork remotely would be easier and take less time. Ha! So, Iβm a bit of a salmon swimming upstream at the moment. Best to you, Pete.

Let us all hope we (the entire world) recovers from this Coronavirus pandemic as soon as possible and yes, I am aware that it will take a while π Anyway, keep up the great work as always π

My mother used to make them Sunday nights. I guess she learned that from her English grandmother.

I just got back from a 2-1/2 hour rock scramble to the top of one of the Calico Hills over in Red Rock Canyon NCA. Lots of people there today, but only a handful made the climb. As for the serial delay, I’m sure your characters appreciate the extra day you’re allowing them to live!

Yes, Percival sent me a thank-you note by rider. He was relieved to wake up this morning. π

Why are you apologising??

Just because I know some people expect to see it appear every day, and some of them actually look forward to it too. π
(And because I am nothing if not impeccably polite…)
Best wishes, Pete.

Virus! Enough said. π
(I could start it now, but I am tired. I need to concentrate on my research and notes, and try to get all the names and dates right. Phew!)
Best wishes, Pete.

It was, thanks. I have just washed up the pots and pans, after munching my way through it.
Take care, Wilma.

Now I’m going to have to find a chicken to roast, after I’ve caught it π I hope Ollie managed a few titbits.

Oh yes. He got a bowl full of ‘dog bits and skin’, and we still had enough meat left to fill a Tupperware box for sandwiches next week. Ollie is cleaning his paws as I type!
Cheers, Pete.
