    1. Lots of the comments you see in the spam folder are generated by ‘bots’, apparently. It is quite rare for them to slip through onto your blog though. πŸ™‚
      Best wishes, Pete.

  1. Just a thought. I’ve been following the engrossing complete stories and I’m completely hooked. Since I discovered this blog just recently, is there any chance of opening a separate blog for easier access to the complete stories? I know I’m asking for too muchπŸ˜‚

  2. This is a comment for everyone else, NOT Pete: What if there wasn’t a “Beetley Pete?” Who is the genius who came up with this character, who takes us on walks with his dog, regales us with stories of his past, and writes copious amounts of short fiction? Whoever it is, bravo to them – a very talented “bot!”

      1. Say, Pete — have you ever visited the blog of a new follower and had a warning pop up about the site? I’ve had two instances recently where my malware checker warned me that a blog was suspicious. As far as I knew it was just another WordPress blog, but possibly self-hosted. Sort of the reverse situation from what you’re describing here.

        1. Yes, I often get that. “Warning: Suspicious Site” message. One of them comes up on the site of one of my oldest followers, and I am sure it has to do with self-hosting too. If it is a new follower I don’t know, I tend to ‘Not Proceed’, just in case.
          Best wishes, Pete.
