Off The Blog

From Sunday (tomorrow) afternoon, I am going to be off the blog until next weekend. I will not be replying to any comments, or reading anyone’s posts for a week.

I will try to catch up a bit when I get back, but previous experience has shown me that a few days away is hard to get on top of.

On top of that, I may well have been stuck onto the Block Editor by then. If so, anticpate further delays.

Anyway, just so you know I am not dead.

  4. I got to Monday afternoon and thought something was missing. I couldn’t put my finger on what it was until I realised – you hadn’t posted. Enjoy your time away

        1. If I am posting 3-4 times, and commenting on all the blogs I follow too, I have to allow around 5 hours a day, in two chunks. I don’t mind that, but it means that other than taking Ollie out, I have no time for anything else. It’s my own fault of course. 🙂

  22. I’m definitely going to miss you Pete, but I really hope that you are going to have a terrific week off. After the hard times of these past few weeks, you really deserve some great relaxation! So really enjoy yourself!
    Oh…as for the blog editor: Fraggle made another great and very clear video tutorial for the pictures, and I got it to work. 😊 So really she deserves all the praise!
    Anyways, don’t worry about WordPress or editors or anything: just have a good time! That’s way more important!😀😀

      1. That she is! I’m very happy with it. I’m still not a fan of this new editor, but at least I’m able to now make it work, so that’s good! 😊

  26. Have a great holiday, Pete. Try not to think about WP too much. I’ve finally put up a post. Jon helped me put the pictures in but it’s not how I want to do things. Then, it wouldn’t let me publish. Finally, it was published. I always share a link on Facebook but it wouldn’t let do it – said it had been reported as offensive. I then went to Facebook and found every single one of blog links has been removed. Coincidence?

    1. Photos are on the agenda, John. Still not sure about food photos though. 🙂
      (It is a place not far from here that I have been to before, and posted photos of. I will try to get some different ones)
