Yes, I have had some of that. It has become the celebrities who fascinate me. Some die younger than me, which surprises me, for some reason. Others live to an age that exceeded my expectation of their longevity. Keith Richard of the Rolling Stones is one example. He is 77 years old, looks like a walking corpse, yet appears to have the same vitality as when he was 27.
Best wishes, Pete.
I suppose my job made me more aware of death than most. But now I am almost 69, I note so many people of that age dying, or already dead. I suppose it is a morbid fascination with my own mortality.
Best wishes, Pete.
There he was, being interviewed by the medium.
A man I thought was still alive.
Into the office, to check on my PC.
Yes, he was dead.
But his spirit was in fine shape.
This happens to me quite often. And the opposite as well, Pete. Sometimes I’m convinced somebody is still alive, and then I get a shock when I realise they’ve been dead for years. So true!
I think I only notice someone’s died when Kim posts their demise!

I enjoyed the obituaries when it was just my friends’ parents listed there before it became my friends themselves.

The creepiest here are those ads for music of the 60’s hosted by the very badly aged rockers. Some of them make Keith look pretty good.

An interesting thought, Pete. I never think about anyone dying so it is always a shock to me when I hear someone has passed.

As I have slowly become a senior citizen, I am surprised with the discovery that I am confronted with mortality on a weekly, if not daily, basis. x
