(1) If the small sea-god statue can answer any wish, why didn’t Gamesh wish for the siren and wasp-lady to vanish, etc.? The best take on wishes was in “Bedazzled” (Brendan Fraser, Liz Hurley).
(2) Maybe Galmesh should have been called Hymen’s-clog-it?
I found the story to be a bit inconsistent in style and a strange mix of actual and imaginary beasts. There were some good similes, though (e.g., “a voice deliciously dark as wild honey”).
Great written, Pete! In parts it remembers me on a fable. Thank you for sharing! Best wishes, Michael

I obviously liked it more than you, David. 🙂
A mix of fantsay and fable worked for me, on this occasion.
Best wishes, Pete.

Games was too kind-hearted to destroy other creatures. His solution was to distract them so he could get away.

Wow! That was a good one. A fantasy but pretty realistic with the girls fighting like cats! 🤣🤣🤣
