  1. I think I would also no longer know which tablets I would have to take, if there were more than three different tablets. Sometimes I really doubt whether so many tablets really have to be. But once you get used to it, it is certainly impossible to take it off. Best wishes, Michael

    1. Thank you, Lara. Most of these short posts are based on real events, remembered from my time as an EMT in London. You never forget them, even the ‘small things’.
      Best wishes, Pete. x

    1. That was an old lady in London, Phil. She became ill because she took too much of one medication, and not enough of another one.
This is what she told me when I went to pick her up in the ambulance.
      Best wishes, Pete.

    1. I have seen old people with a complete dining table covered in bottles and packets of tablets and medicines. They must have spent most of their day taking them, and I often wondered how they remembered which order to take them in.
      Best wishes, Pete.

    1. These are just memories of ambulance jobs, FR. Old people living alone, and struggling to cope. They come to mind on a regular basis, even though most of them have been dead since the 1990s.
      Best wishes, Pete.

  2. You really are not looking forward to getting old are you? I reckon you’ll be one of those sprightly old gents who keeps their wits about them. You have so much going on in that head of yours! 😆

    1. These are mostly memories of ambulance jobs, Jude. I don’t mind so much getting old, as long as I can remember to take the tablets in the right order, and to be able to read the labels. 🙂
      Best wishes, Pete. x

      1. I figured that was where you were coming from. There are some very sad and lonely old folk out there. Even with the right amount of tablets packaged when to be taken they can still cause confusion. We often found my m-i-l had missed a dose.

  3. Much better than taking them all. It’s much easier if you sort them into Morning, Noon, and Night trays just once a week like me. You can check to see each box is the same before you start forgetting to take them.
    Hugs
