I have just discovered that yesterday was my ‘Best Ever’ day for views on this blog, with 812 views in a 24-hour period. This figure easily beats the previous ‘Best Day’.
Obviously, I am very grateful to everyone who viewed my blog yesterday, and send you my thanks for doing so.

Well done, Pete. You seem to be getting better. I once had 75 views in 2016 and have not exceeded that number since. I now assume 75 must have been the result of a WordPress glitch!

Thanks, Geoff. That was an exceptional day, for some reason. At the moment, my blog does seem to be having increasing numbers of views and followers. I conclude this has been since the lockdowns, with more people having free time to read, and to become bloggers themselves.

Well done, Pete. Strangely enough, so did I. I received notifications that somebody had liked 60 of my blogs. When I checked out who it was, it was a group of fans from Liverpool Football Club. How bizarre, as I truly hate football, footballers, football commentators, and in fact anything else you can think of to do with football!
