Thanks, Pete! We had a nice dinner yesterday, with just enough left over. I think of Thanksgiving as the start of “turkey season.” There’s also that pumpkin spice thing.

They have just changed the name of Uncle Ben’s Rice over here, and removed the photo from the packaging too. It is now called ‘Ben’s Original’. I never heard of any complaints about the name, but no doubt there were some.

We had our gathering (small and vaxxed of course) on Saturday. Still have leftovers for two more days and I already made soup for the freezer.

There is Harvest Festival, but that is usually only for churchgoers and other religious people. It was on the 3rd of October this year, I looked it up. I don’t celebrate anything in October, including Halloween. 🙂

We don’t have thanksgiving here as well, we have thanksgiving on december at our chuch but thats just a personal celebration at church 😁
