Signs Of Autumn In Beetley

On a bright and sunny walk this afternoon, I finally started to see some changes in the trees and the local woodland. Unfortunately, Ollie was not in the mood to be photographed today!

The woodland path was feeling decidedly autumnal.

  1. More green than fall color here in Texas. Our leaves hit their stride in mid to late November. Fall here, last only a few days then it turns to winter, that also last a few weeks, then it’s back to summer again. The leaves here have to be quick.

  2. Here in Nevada, the aspens turn golden in the mountains in late September. A few trees here in the desert valley are showing hints of autumn colors, but most trees will remain green throughout October and well into November.
