We celebrated Diwali in the classroom, making little candle holders and rangoli art. A parent Zoomed with us to teach the children about this Festival of Lights. It was wonderful! Best to you, Pete.

Most festivals at this time of year tend to be about harvests, or remembering the dead. They are not that different, all around the world.

Here in India, it’s one of the biggest festival we celebrate !!! London is full of Indians so yes, you would have seen the celebration there. Come India sometime for sure, will show you around many festivals 😄😄😄

Thanks, Theo. I have a lot of followers who celebrate that. When I lived in Wimbledon, my neighbours were Kenyan Asians, and they used to invite us in for their festival of light celebration.

It is a festival of new beginnings.
Diwali signifies the triumph of good over evil and light over darkness and knowledge over ignorance.
