  1. We celebrated Diwali in the classroom, making little candle holders and rangoli art. A parent Zoomed with us to teach the children about this Festival of Lights. It was wonderful! Best to you, Pete.

    1. Thanks, Theo. I have a lot of followers who celebrate that. When I lived in Wimbledon, my neighbours were Kenyan Asians, and they used to invite us in for their festival of light celebration.

      Diwali is the five-day Festival of Lights, celebrated by millions of Hindus, Sikhs, and Jains across the world.
      Diwali coincides with harvest and new year celebrations.
      It is a festival of new beginnings.
      Diwali signifies the triumph of good over evil and light over darkness and knowledge over ignorance.
