Thanks to everyone for their concern and kind words about the car accident involving my stepson and his girlfriend on Sunday.
It was very much appreciated.
I am sure you would like to know that he was able to source a good second-hand car at a reasonable price this morning, so they are now able to take full advantage of their Christmas break in the Cotswolds.
Their Christmas is looking brighter already!

Here in the States, second-hand cars are now described as preowned cars, but, as Kurt Russell once pointed out, they were once called Used Cars.

He was able to buy a 5-door VW Golf that was one-owner, and in great condition. It is much better than the car he crashed, so something positive.
