I think I must have allowed the PC to shut down on timer without saving the draft, Carolyn. I was receiving parcels that I had to check.
Best wishes, Pete.
Oh no, so frustrating! I once created a TV rundown on a special computerized spreadsheet – more than 100 lines with titles, running times, back timings, chyrons and so much more….was distracted at the end and turned off the program…but had NEVER saved it!
I may have done something similar, John. I left the computer for a while to sort out a parcel delivery. I had to enter my passcode to get back into the PC, and probably hadn’t saved the draft.
Best wishes, Pete.
No worry…..a day off will do you good…LOL chuq

We all have our moments…I’ve recently realised I’ve lost some precious images….

I have saved most of my photos taken since I retired. I keep them on a portable 500GB hard drive in case my PC crashes.

Well, mine had been saved, but a few seem to have escaped

Come on, we know the real reason! Helen didn’t feel like talking today! It’s her fault!

You guessed it. We couldn’t wake her up! 🙂
