If you ever find yourself in London in need of an alcoholic drink, it might be something different to have that beverage in one of the smallest pubs the city has to offer.
The Coach and Horses. Bruton Street, W1. Mayfair.
The Dove, Upper Mall, W4. Chiswick, next to the River Thames.
The Euston Tap, Euston Station, NW1.
The Rake, Borough Market, SE1. Just south of London Bridge.
The Cask and Glass, Palace Street, SW1. Victoria.
CHEERS!
Pete, thank you for sending me those links to your other, prior posts on pubs. Very much appreciated! Best, Bruce

Those pubs are looking so amazing. A great difference to all these mass serving entities. Thanks for sharing, Michael

I don’t even think I should guess a large beer here is equivalent to about a pound in the Uk but I guess wine will be cheaper as it’s imported here and very expensive đ x

In one of the pubs shown here, a glass of wine would be at least ÂŁ5. But you can get a pint of beer in somewhere like our local town, Dereham, for ÂŁ3. x

Wines about the same but beer is half the price here.. x

Tiny Pubs? Who knew. Question is, do they have Kronenbourg 1664 on tap? That’s all that matters.
Cheers,

The Dove is right by the river, but it is quite a long way from the centre, Cindy. Just off the A4 on the way out to Heathrow.
Best wishes, Pete. x

So many have become ‘corporate’ now, Carolyn. Big companies taking over, making every pub they own look the same.

It’s the way of the world, isn’t it. Sad. I loved all those individual places with their own character.

We’ve got The Nutshell in Bury St. Edmunds… tiny, tiny place and quite famous. This year they’ve been allowed to have chairs and tables outside.

I have heard of that pub. There are lots of very tiny pubs in Britain, this was just a London selection. đ

I’d pick the Coach and Horses. I hear the body generates a lot of horsepower with their alcoholic offerings.

But you wouldn’t be able to expolit that, in such a small space!

The Dove in Hammersmith is about 4x8ft. It is past the bridge by the river off Rivercourt Rd. Now how do i know that. The guys at work tasked me to organise a social and I arranged it there. None of them had heard of the place, I had got a call there so knew. But after the joke, there was a nearby boat ramp that had boat we could have a BBQ on.

I have been in there, but it is so long ago now I actually forget when it was. Maybe 1983/1984?
Cheers, Pete.
