Back In The Land Of The Living

After a couple of days spent mostly in bed, I am now on the road to recovery. I starved myself yesterday, and that seems to have done the trick.

Ollie also seems to be responding to the large amount of medication I have been giving him. He ate his food late yesterday afternoon, and slept undisturbed by pain last night.

Sadly, I have not been able to keep up with any of your posts, so I am starting fresh today. Hopefully, my next serial episode will also appear at some stage.

We have some more hot weather forecast for the weekend, but nowhere near as hot as it was earlier this week. Fingers crossed we have seen the last of those exceptional temperatures for this year.

    1. We are both still getting there slowly, Robbie. Ollie has another 9 days of tablets to take, and I am doing very little until I feel better. I am back to blogging though, so that cheered me up.
      Best wishes, Pete.

  1. Glad you and Ollie are on the mend. We were supposed to be on a canal boat along the Norfolk Broads today to celebrate our son’s 40th birthday, but he came down with the Rona and I had to postpone the trip until September.

    1. That’s a shame. We have been to the Broads a fair bit since we moved here, but so far we haven’t taken a boat out. It always seems to be incredibly busy on the water there.
      Best wishes, Pete.

  2. glad to hear you are both making a comeback. i’d say ease back in, don’t worry about responding to all the old comments, and just start fresh when you’re ready. tiptoe back in and both of you take it easy as long as you need to and good to see you.
