Many of you already know that I have another blog. It is very different to beetleypete.

I only dip into that blog occasionally, usually when I feel the need to rant about the Royal Family, Politicians, or some world events. What I have to say there can possibly offend or upset many readers, but in some ways, that is the point of it. To generate heated debate, hear the opinions of others, and to be deliberately controversial.

Some posts on there have hardly been viewed, let alone commented on. So by way of advertising that blog to anyone who would not be too upset to read it, here is a link to a 2013 post that has an element of nostalgia and reflection to it.

  9. But of course Pete is well-written! As his large numbers of followers will attest to.
    I couldn’t sleep.. 3am here.. popped on.. and saw both you guys posting. The time difference always has Pete’s posts as the first of the day here.
    I’ve not done much, nor commented much lately. Combination of real life and a measure of apathy I suppose. Know that I still read the posts from both you guys.. Pete and chuq. A couple times I’ve grabbed a theme or two and used it for some commentaries in my real life in other venues.
    Hang in there guys.
    I have no idea where the world is headed these days.

You know, given the numbers of dreams we all have (the vast majority of mine are never recalled) I was wondering not too long ago.. trying to remember the last time I had a dream with ANY female in it and experiencing ANY sort of romantic-ness in it… I think it was back in 1969 when I had a dream about some girl in class. Before that my early dreams were usually bad.. and included that damn tornado from the Wizard of Oz.
        I am so looking forward to the concept illustrated in the movie “Total Recall”. Simply put on a headset and it convinces my brain that I just had the best time of my life doing something with someone.

To generate heated debate, hear the opinions of others, and to be deliberately controversial.” — to which I am replying, “My blog was originally intended to generate heated debate and to hear the opinions of others too … but for some reason, I have never been able to get too many people to engage on that level … not even my beloved trolls whom I used to love to argue with.
