Very cool. But we also have the tech that would allow a full 360 degree view AI extrapolation, as if you were walking behind them… and then hologram movement. Love this stuff, Pete.

Fascinating photos. I had ancestors who fought and died in the Civil War. I know that at least one died in the Battle of Wilson’s Creek (near Springfield, Missouri, where I was born).

Nice to have that connection, David. I don’t know of any of my relatives who might have fought in our civil war. So many of the records have been lost since 1651.

Thanks, Dorothy. I sometimes deliberately avoid posting colourised photos, but in this case they made those people seem so real, and took us back to the 1860s.

I have seen the original B&W photos many times. Most of these have been ‘sharpened’ for focus and blur issues, and then colourised. Other than that, they are much as I remember them.
