  1. As a child I loved it, of course, because it meant Easter eggs. Then it was the public holiday which meant premium pay (Easter Monday). Now, it’s another day. But it marks Spring and it’s always nice to have good wishes. I send you the same.

    1. Thanks, Carolyn. When I was working, I used to enjoy being on shift over Easter for the two days of double-time payments. Like you, it is just another day for me now.
      Best wishes, Pete.

  2. Same to you, Pete. The only thing out of the ordinary I will be doing is joining daughter, son-in-law & granddaughter for an easter egg hunt in our village on Sunday morning. I had to change my schedule this week as I normally go to the library on a Friday morning but, of course, as it is a local authority facility, it was closed today for the ‘holiday’. Good for the staff, I suppose. Cheers, Jon.

  3. Thanks for the very kind and considerate holiday greetings .. I do not celebrate Easter in the traditional way either because (a) The Easter Bunny is not my Lord or Savior and (b) I already eat way too much candy for my own good and also Ashtarte is a heathen — I celebrate Resurrection day — “Easter” is far too commercialized and I think it is in bad taste. So to make things less complicated allow me to wish for you and your loved ones, the happiest possible holiday also. Give dear little Ollie a scratch or two for me, eh?

      1. Good Friday and Holy Saturday here are still part of the Paschal Triduum then Easter brings the Resurrection on Sunday. Easter is a time to rejoice, a time for new beginnings.
