  1. I looked just like that in the 70s. And mini skirts and hot pants, too! And my husband wore psychodelic shirts. Matching ties were also popular.

And I resonate with the middle aged kids. my youngest just turned 50, and I have a grandson of 30!

    1. I never had flared jeans, I was a suit and tie-wearing ‘Soul Boy’. In fact I didn’t buy my first pair of jeans until I was 30 years old, and then only to wear when riding my motorcycle to work.😊

      Best wishes, Pete.

      1. Suit and tie – very spiffy! 😎 I didn’t wear jeans until I was 14, when we moved from Germany to Canada in 1969. My German mother thought they looked sloppy and low class. Can’t imagine what she would think about how people dress nowadays, especially those purposely-ripped jeans! 😝 I see youngsters walking around in public wearing pyjama bottoms and house slippers too. Good grief! 🙄

        1. OMG, don’t get me started on platform shoes. My daughter bought me a pair of cowboy Beatle boots for Christmas a couple of years ago. I remember Levis in one length and rolling up cuffs until about 1965 or so.
