Written in 1966 by Bob Montgomery, the song ‘Misty Blue’ was always intended to be a Country Music song. Since then it has been covered numerous times by many singers, not all of them Country artists, but most notably by Country singer Wilma Burgess, who had a huge hit with it in America. So much so that it became her ‘signature’ song.
My favourite version was released by Soul singer Dorothy Moore in 1976, and for me this remains the definitive rendition of the song. The lyrics are on the video.
My computer speakers died months ago, and now my headset wires have not only exposed themselves but are coming unraveled. I’m going to see if I can temporarily repair the headset, and then order a new set. So, unfortunately, I don’t have any sound right now.

Be careful you don’t electrocute yourself!
At the very least, your hair might turn frizzy! š

This came out just as I had broken up with a boyfriend, as if I hadn’t been depressed enough, lol.
