I laughed the hardest at The Donner Party Memorial, but chuckles continued with “I’ll have a Cur’s Light” (I spent a couple of years of my childhood in Golden, Colorado where Coors beer is brewed) and Little Rock (I’ve never been to the city, but I know the western half of Arkansas quite well, and used to canoe the Buffalo River, in the northern part of the state, every spring).
The dogs tipping their heads to the professor made me laugh. Just this morning Zoe was trying to figure out what Charlie and I were talking about and tipped her head just so.
‘The Donner Party is famous for cannibalism in a stranded wagon train. This is Little Rock, https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Little_Rock,_Arkansas and the Ancient Egyptian ants have pyramid nests. I think the rest are obvious though.
Very good! Thanks for the chuckles, Pete!

Every dog I have ever known does that when they are confused. It was nicely drawn.

Being dense, I looked at the Arkansas joke and decided it was Stone. There is in fact a Stone County in Arkansas, as well as Little Rock. Duh!

I’m not American, but Little Rock was instantly obvious to me. I remembered the town from reading and films.

I love the dog trial. Poor defendant didn’t get a jury of his peers.
