Good selection there, Pete. The projected higher water levels map is very worrying, notwithstanding that I won’t be here to have to contend with it; my area seems to relatively unaffected, however. Cheers, Jon.
Where we live now, where 3 of my step-children live, and both grandchildren, all forecast to be underwater in 75 years. I cannot imagine the state of the country if this prediction comes true, but I will be vey pleased not to have to live through it.
I love these. The ‘American view’ is worryingly funny … though having watched The 1% Club on TV at the weekend, and that young lad confessing to thinking Manchester was in Scotland and another thinking ‘Scotsman’ was not a proper word, then I think we may now be facing a new global threat … a dumbdenic, if you like. 😉
I can’t watch ‘popular’ quiz shows any longer, as I am appalled at the ignorance displayed. If you want to see a few people who are incredibly ignorant, (perhaps uneducated is kinder) I recommend Gogglebox. There are some on there who take my breath away with their incredible lack of very basic general and geographical knowledge. Glad you enjoyed the maps, CT.

I’ve always heard, “The more, the better!” I guess that doesn’t apply to the British Isles. More isles, less land…

The future for GB is bleak. Luckily for me, it is not the immediate future.

That prediction is regularly (and seriously) stated here. Beetley will disappear completely, so I am glad I will be dead long before that happens.
Best wishes, Pete.

I love the Americans and Europe. Yeah, we aren’t so good with that geography thing.

It’s a generalisation, but still very amusing.

Great maps, some a bit scary, all ring true, though.

Yes, most of eastern England could be under water in less than 100 years. I won’t be here to see that, fortunately.
Best wishes, Pete.

Interesting maps! I think it’s great how America looks at Europe. 😉 Small joke on the side. Have a nice day, Pete! xx Michael
