Thank you Pete! Very interesting, even i read about it some years ago. But interesting indeed. As long as they dont receive the voice of Boris Johnson or Maggie Thatcher its all OK. Lol
Fascinating, Pete. I listened to recordings from outer space at an art event a few years ago. We’d to put big headphones on and then all these weird sounds came at us. It was quite amazing. I’d no idea where the sounds came from.
I wasn’t aware that the atmosphere in space carried sounds.
Remember the line from the publicity for the film ‘Alien’?
“In space, nobody can hear you scream”. 🙂
Best wishes, Pete.
Well this was something that I can say that I had never thought about. How very interesting! thank you-x Michele

I had always presumed that it was silent in space. Now I know different. 🙂

Maybe we can’t be heard screaming but something out there is making a lot of noises 🙂

It’s either:
(1) Music of the Spheres; or
(2) Space Screamers.
So, I need to:
(1) Write lyrics for the musica universalis; or
(2) Call Ellen Ripley.

I think Ripley has already written the lyrics, David.
She had a lot of free time, between alien encounters.
Best wishes, Pete.
