My Writing, In A Book!

I am very happy to have received a copy of a book today. A book containing a short article that was originally published on this blog.

Eating Out After Lockdown

Australian writer, poet, and blogger, Carolyn Cordon, compiled an anthology of poetry and prose from writers all around the world, chronicling individual responses to the Covid-19 pandemic. I was happy when she asked me if she could include my blog post.

She has now self-published the book, and kindly sent me a copy.

I have previously been published in magazines and on online review sites, but this is a first for me, to be included in a printed book, along with a short bio at the back too.

You can find out more about Carolyn, using this link.

To buy a copy, please contact her at this email address.
(After covering her costs, Carolyn is using the book sales to raise money for a Multiple Sclerosis charity.)

    1. I was planning to do that before Christmas, but had some ‘unexpected expenditure’ to consider. (The Oak Trees have to be professionally trimmed in January. It’s only every five years, but costs a lot.)
      Cheers, Pete.

    1. The next book project is about Climate Change. I am hoping to get something into that one too. I love the fact that such books will be historical records long after I am dead and gone.
      Best wishes, Pete.

  1. I’m the person who edited this book, and I thank Pete very much for sharing his news with you all! I am a writer, poet and blogger, and this book Pete has his words in, Plague Invasion, is my first try at editing and publishing an anthology. I enjoyed the process, and am pleased I’ve have been able to cover my costs, and in fact made a profit. With this new book idea, it may eat up some of that profit, but with luck, the book to come, another anthology, may find the love as well, and find enough book buyers to bring in the money to pass on to the MS Society Pete spoke of.
