I thought my car had been stolen after not finding it wandering the parking lot for nearly half an hour. And realized, at last, that I’d driven my wife’s car.
Great selection, Pete! My favourites are the modern technology ones, especially the ‘staring at their hands in despair’ and ‘username and password don’t match’! Thanks for the chuckles, Pete!
(1) Earl and Opal Pickles aren’t young. In fact, they’re over the dill. (2) Heaven has yet to make SIM halos available. (3) St. Peter should not be using an Apple laptop. That’s sinful! (4) I’ve had a devil of a time finding the starting edge of a roll of tape. (5) Beware the modern world. It’s a jungle out there! (6) Wait till he finds out he’s on the phone with a smart aleck. (7) And then the aliens sought out a good shoe salesman. Fortunately, they found one in Edward Wheeler. (8) Edward Wheeler was also the name of an early transportation engineer who tested his own inventions. (9) If “likes” are puffs of black smoke, I wonder if “dislikes” are puffs of white smoke? Also, could smoke signals be used to transmit Morse Code? Hettie wants to know. (10) Louie the Love Lizard tried to jump his mobility scooter across the Grand Canyon. Unfortunately, he was no Robbie Knievel.
I found the first few on Pinterest a long time ago, and now they send me links to more every day. I’m so pleased to hear how much you enjoy them, Janet.
The religious jokes are always the best. Lol Thanks for sharing, Pete! xx Michael

The tape one gets the award. The guy who lost his car and phone? Good luck finding a payphone!

Sellotape was definitely invented by a sadist! Yes, no payphones in Beetley now.
