Who knew, when they started blogging.
That other bloggers could become great friends.
Never met, never spoken to. No matter.
But no less cared for and loved.
And their loss no less heartbreaking.
(In memory of Sue Vincent)

This brings to the fore the question of a way to know when bloggers depart. As you know some disappear without notice. And no, I am no the one to do it. for various reasons and I can give you the first 77 of them. Warmest regards, Theo

In Sue’s case, her partner put up a suitable blog post. I doubt that would happen in my situation though.

This is lovely, Pete. Thank you for sharing. I am feeling very overwhelmed reading all the tributes to Sue today. I, who always have so much to say, haven’t a single word in my quiver. I am just devastated as Sue was one of my really good blogging friends.

Sue often commented on my early blog posts. She had a massive following, and was dearly loved by so many bloggers you would recognise. We have lost one of the best, FR.
Best wishes, Pete.

Yes I read she had 19000 followers, but I never came across any comments by her in the blogs I follow so that’s why I didn’t catch her.

I have made so many friends here and will most likely never meet any of them. Sue’s passing is a loss for all of us. We are better by having known her.
